Thank You, God!
I Thessalonians 5:18 & 1 Corinthians 9:15

What is God’s will for you (verse 18)?

In what are we to give thanks (verse 18)?  What does this mean practically?

Who are we to give our thanks to?  Why?

How, in what ways, do you give thanks in everything?

How can we give thanks when “bad” things happen?

Read 2 Corinthians 9:15.  Even though Jesus is God’s gift that is too wonderful for
words, it is our duty to express our thanksgiving to Him, in part, through words.
Take some time this week to write out your thanksgiving for God’s
indescribable gift.  Take the time to list God’s attributes & thank Him for them.

Because Jesus is too wonderful for words, He has many different names, titles, &
descriptions in Scripture.  Write down as many as come to mind.  Then pick
one each day to meditate on & thank God for.

Much of our thanksgiving to God is done through words, but it should never stop
with words.  What other ways can you express your thanks to Him?
What other ways are you expressing your thanks to Him?

List some of the things that God has done for you & thank Him for them.  Share
your list with someone else so that they might thank God with you.

Read these Thanksgiving Psalms, perhaps using a different version than usual, &
pray these Psalms back to God.
